MESSAGE FROM BOB CROWLEY
On February 24, almost 8 months ago, I decided to make my first run for public office by offering myself as a Democratic candidate for Rensselaer County Legislative District #2 which includes Poestenkill, North Greenbush and East Greenbush.
I assure you this has been an eye-opening experience.
MESSAGE FROM TOM RUSSELL
It has been a distinct honor and privilege to have served as your Town Supervisor the past two years. I have made it my top priority to be available/accessible, to listen, be responsive and be service oriented to all Town Residents. I pledge to continue this focused commitment if reelected.
Thank you very much for your consideration of my candidacy for Poestenkill Town Supervisor.
Tom Russell, seeking re-election as Town Supervisor
MESSAGE FROM GREG PATTENAUDE
Poestenkill residents have been very gracious as I have travelled around our beautiful town. Whether it’s a very brief conversation, or a more detailed discussion, I greatly appreciate our community.
The top thing I have been hearing is a collective peace of mind knowing that a dedicated ambulance service has returned to our town. Surprisingly, not everyone is aware of its July 1, 2025 return...
MESSAGE FROM ANDREW BATISTA
To everyone who supported this campaign - who showed up, who volunteered, who believed Poestenkill could do better - thank you.
If elected, I will do the job you hired me to do. I will serve every resident of Poestenkill with integrity and accountability. You have my word.
MISINFORMATION FOR FUNDING FOR WATER DISTRICT 2
Recent mailers, town hall public comments, statements made at the October 20th Meet the Candidates night give the impression that $600,000 of funding for Water District 2 (WD2) construction is at risk. Water District 2 will supply municipal water to Algonquin Middle School and nearby neighborhoods.
The creation of the WD2 was approved by homeowners in the district on June 27, 2024.
